"This document describes several optical techniques that study opaque and transparent materials. It is presented in two sections, the first uses a transmission interferometer to measure hydro dynamics in a water tunnel. The purpose of this prototype is to work as a scale wind tunnel that was tested with a scale model car in it. The second section describes a study using three optical methods to analyze the full mechanical changes in mice's femoral bones when stored in different solutions. Here, anisotropy variations of the bone were observed according to the storage media."
